Glimpses Terms of Service

1. Introduction

Welcome to Glimpses! These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Glimpses social media platform, including all related websites, applications, features, products, and services provided by Creatoors Tech Private Limited (“the Company”). Creatoors Tech Private Limited is a private limited company based in Maharashtra, India. By creating an Glimpses account or using any part of our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms, which form a legally binding agreement between you and Creatoors Tech Private Limited. If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not register or use Glimpses.

In addition to these Terms, you agree to comply with all other applicable Glimpses policies, guidelines, and rules, including our Community Guidelines and Privacy Policy, which are hereby incorporated by reference. We may also offer certain features or activities (for example, advertising services, monetization programs, or developer tools) that are governed by supplemental terms. Where supplemental terms apply, we will make them available to you and, if you use those features, you agree to those additional terms (which shall prevail in the event of conflict with these general Terms). These Terms, together with any supplemental terms and our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Creatoors Tech Private Limited regarding your use of Glimpses, superseding any prior agreements.

2. Description of Services

Glimpses is a social networking service that enables users to connect, communicate, and share content with a broad community. Through Glimpses, users can create personal or business profiles, post text, images, videos, and other user-generated content, follow or subscribe to other accounts, send messages, engage with content (such as liking or commenting), and participate in communities or discussions. We continually develop new features – from live streaming and stories to AI-driven tools – to enhance your experience and allow you to express yourself and connect with others in innovative ways. Our mission is to foster a vibrant online community where individuals, creators, and organizations can build connections, discover interests, and grow their audience. We strive to personalize your experience on Glimpses based on your activities, connections, and preferences, in order to show you relevant content and suggestions. All services are provided subject to these Terms and may be updated or expanded as we improve Glimpses. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue certain features as needed to improve the service or comply with legal requirements.

3. How We Fund Our Services (Advertising)

Glimpses is primarily provided to you free of charge. In exchange, you understand and agree that we display advertising and sponsored content on the platform. Businesses, organizations, and other partners pay the Company to show you ads for their products or services, which allows us to fund the Glimpses services. By using Glimpses, you agree that we and our partners may display advertisements to you that we believe are relevant to your interests. We may use information about you (in accordance with our Privacy Policy) to personalize the ads you see, such as using your profile information, activities, and preferences to show you more relevant sponsored content.

We are committed to respecting your privacy. We do not sell your personal data to advertisers, and we will not share information that directly identifies you (such as your name or contact information) with advertisers unless you give us permission. Advertisers may provide us with target criteria (for example, an intended audience’s demographics or interests) and we will place ads to users who fit those criteria. We may also provide advertisers with aggregated or de-identified reports about ad performance (e.g. how many people saw or clicked on their ad). For more details on how we use data for advertising, please refer to our Privacy Policy and Ads Policy. By using Glimpses, you acknowledge that advertising and commercial content is an integral part of the service. If you interact with advertisements or use any in-app purchasing features (such as buying promoted posts or other services), additional terms (including payment terms) may apply.

Note: If you are using Glimpses’s advertising or promotional tools as an advertiser (for example, to run ads or sponsored posts for your own product or service), please see Section 6.1 below regarding Advertising and Promotions, as well as any applicable advertising policies.

4. Account Registration and Eligibility

4.1 Personal Accounts

Eligibility: You must be at least 13 years old to use Glimpses. By registering, you represent that you meet this minimum age requirement. If you are under the age of majority (under 18 in most cases), you further represent that you have your parent or legal guardian’s permission to use Glimpses, and that they have reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf. Parents and guardians of underage users are responsible for the minor’s activity on Glimpses and may be required to supervise or manage the account. Glimpses is not intended for children below 13, and such accounts are not permitted.

Account Setup: When creating a personal account, you agree to provide accurate and up-to-date information about yourself. This may include a valid email, phone number, and truthful profile information. You also agree to keep your contact information (such as phone number or email) current. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must use your own identity on Glimpses and may not impersonate any other person or entity. Using a pseudonym or nickname is allowed, but creating accounts that mislead others about your identity or affiliation (including parody or fan accounts not clearly labeled as such) is prohibited. You may not create an account for someone else without their authorization. We reserve the right to require verification of your identity or other information (for example, verifying your email or phone) to confirm your account and ensure compliance with these Terms.

One Account per Person: In general, each individual user should maintain only a single personal account. Creating multiple personal accounts to evade restrictions or abuse our systems is not allowed. If your account is suspended or disabled, you must not create another without our permission. We may allow certain users to have multiple accounts (e.g., to separate personal and professional personas) as long as all accounts comply with these Terms.

4.2 Business and Organizational Accounts

Glimpses allows companies, brands, organizations, and other entities to create accounts (including “Pages” or profiles for businesses) to establish a presence on the platform. If you create or use an account on behalf of a business, organization, brand, or any other entity (a “Business Account”), you represent and warrant that you are authorized to act on behalf of and bind that entity to these Terms. The entity itself will be legally bound by the Terms, and “you” as used in these Terms will refer to both you as an individual and the entity you represent.

Business Accounts must provide the entity’s true name and accurate information (including any required business verification details). The user managing the Business Account should be an official representative. If you are not authorized to represent the organization, you must not create or manage an account for it. Business Accounts are subject to the same rules and community standards as personal accounts. In addition, if you use Glimpses for commercial purposes or to offer goods/services (for example, marketing your products, running promotions, or engaging in e-commerce), you may be subject to our Commercial Terms or other guidelines that we may publish, and you agree to comply with those supplemental terms.

Business Accounts may have access to special features such as advertising tools, analytics, or a dedicated business profile. Any advertising done through a Business Account must comply with Section 6.1 (Advertising and Promotions) of these Terms and our Ads Policies. The Company reserves the right to place additional requirements on Business Accounts (for example, requiring verification badges for notable brands or adherence to specific content guidelines relevant to businesses).

Account Security: Whether you have a personal or business account, you are responsible for keeping your account secure. Do not share your password or give others access to your account. If you suspect unauthorized access to your account, notify us immediately at support@glimpses.app. We encourage you to use a strong password and enable available security features (such as two-factor authentication) to protect your account. The Company will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from unauthorized use of your account due to your failure to safeguard credentials.

4.3 Usernames — Allocation, Reservation, and Reclamation

4.3.1 Nature of usernames

Usernames on Glimpses are account identifiers only. You obtain a limited, revocable, non-transferable licence to use a username while your account is in good standing. Usernames are not your property, do not create any proprietary or vested rights, and may be changed, reclaimed, or reassigned by Glimpses at any time in our sole discretion, including to comply with law or policy, prevent confusion, or protect users and third-party rights.

4.3.2 Selection standards

Usernames must comply with these Terms (including Section 5.3), be accurate and non-misleading, and must not: (a) impersonate or suggest an affiliation with another person, brand, or organisation; (b) infringe IP or publicity rights; (c) include hateful, obscene, or otherwise prohibited terms; or (d) materially interfere with others’ ability to find genuine people or brands.

4.3.3 Reservation of usernames

To prevent impersonation and squatting, Glimpses may reserve certain usernames (including those matching or closely resembling popular celebrities, public figures, brands, companies, and institutions). Reserved usernames are unavailable for general registration and may be allotted to verified rightsholders when they join Glimpses. We may update the reserve list at any time without notice.

4.3.4 Grounds for change or reclamation (non-exhaustive)

We may change or reclaim a username without liability to you where we reasonably determine that any of the following apply:

  • Verified rightsholder request: a verified individual, brand, or entity demonstrates the username corresponds to their legal/trade name, trademark, or widely-recognised persona and your use risks confusion.
  • Impersonation or likelihood of confusion: the username is identical or materially similar to a public figure/brand and would likely mislead users (see Section 5.3).
  • Username squatting/hoarding: bulk registrations, warehousing, offering to sell/transfer usernames, or otherwise acquiring usernames primarily to monetise their scarcity.
  • Inactivity: the account associated with the username is inactive for 180 days (e.g., no login or no meaningful activity), or appears abandoned.
  • Legal/IP issues: credible trademark/publicity-rights complaints or court/government orders (see Section 5.6 and Section 7).
  • Policy, safety, or technical reasons: to enforce Community Guidelines, ensure platform integrity, address security/abuse, or implement product/UX changes.

4.3.5 Process and notice

Where practicable, we will provide notice to the current username holder with a review window of 7 days to contest or to choose an alternative. In urgent cases (e.g., court order, safety concerns, high-risk impersonation), we may act without prior notice. If we reclaim a username, we may (at our discretion) assign a temporary alternative (e.g., adding a suffix) and may maintain non-permanent redirects for 30 days; redirects are not guaranteed.

4.3.6 Appeals and grievances

You may appeal a username change/reclamation by contacting support@glimpses.app within the review window and providing supporting documentation (e.g., proof of identity/business, prior use). We will review and respond. For country-specific complaint and appeal routes, see Section 5.5. Our final platform decision will govern username allocation on Glimpses.

4.3.7 No sale, transfer, or barter

Buying, selling, transferring, or bartering usernames is strictly prohibited. Evidence of such activity may result in immediate forfeiture of the username, reversal of any related changes, and further enforcement (including account suspension/termination) under Section 9.

4.3.8 Verified allocations and proof

For public-interest allocations (e.g., celebrities, brands), we may require verification (government ID, trademark certificate, domain/email verification, corporate records, etc.). Allocation to verified rightsholders is at Glimpses’s sole discretion and may prioritise clear real-world identity and public interest.

4.3.9 No expectation or compensation

You acknowledge and agree that: (a) you have no right to any specific username; (b) Glimpses may reassign or modify your username; (c) we are not liable for any costs or losses arising from a username change (including branding, SEO, links, merchandise, or goodwill); and (d) we have no obligation to provide compensation for any change, reservation, or reclamation.

4.3.10 Re-use and cooling-off

Reclaimed or changed usernames may be held in reserve or reassigned at our discretion. We may apply a cooling-off period before any re-use. Prior holders have no preferential claim unless expressly stated by Glimpses.

5. User Content and Community Guidelines

5.1 Ownership of Your Content

Glimpses enables you and other users to create, post, upload, transmit, or store content, including but not limited to text, images, photos, videos, audio, live streams, comments, reactions, and other materials (“User Content”). You retain all intellectual property rights (such as copyright) in the content that you create and share on Glimpses – we do not claim ownership of your original content. These Terms do not grant us ownership of your content; you are free to share your content with anyone else, anywhere, at any time.

However, by using Glimpses and posting or sharing content, you are giving us permission to use your content for the purpose of operating and improving the platform and services. Specifically, when you share, upload, or otherwise provide content on Glimpses, you grant Creatoors Tech Private Limited a non-exclusive, transferable, sub-licensable, royalty-free, worldwide license to host, use, copy, distribute, modify, run, publicly display or perform, translate, and create derivative works of your content in connection with the services (consistent with your privacy and account settings). This license is necessary for us to transmit, store, and display your content, and to promote or provide the service (for example, to save your photos on our servers, display your videos to friends, or resize/format your content for users’ devices). We will also use this license to make backups and logs of content to ensure the safety and availability of the service.

This license to your content ends when you delete the content or your account, unless the content has been shared with others and they have not deleted it, or we are required to retain it for legal reasons as described below. For example, if you posted a photo and then deleted it, our license to that photo generally terminates once it is fully removed from our systems. However, if another user re-shared your photo, or if your content is subject to a legal hold, then it may persist in our systems as necessary until deleted or as required by law.

5.2 Content Deletion and Retention

Deleting Content: You can delete content you have posted on Glimpses at any time, and you can delete your entire account (see Section 9 below for account deletion). Once you delete content, we will initiate its removal from our active systems and the content will no longer be visible to other users. However, you acknowledge that (a) deleted content may persist in backup copies for a reasonable period (although it will not be visible to others), and (b) Creatoors Tech Private Limited may retain copies of content as required to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements. For instance, if we receive a legal order to preserve certain content, or if deletion within a short timeframe is not feasible due to technical limitations, we will retain the content for no longer than necessary. In such cases, the license you granted for that content will continue until the content is fully deleted from all our systems.

Residual Copies and Shared Content: Content you delete may remain on our server backups or logs for up to 90 days (or as otherwise required by law or our internal policies) before it is purged, unless a longer retention is legally required. Additionally, if you have shared content with others (for example, you posted in someone else’s group, or another user saved or reposted your content), those copies of your content may remain accessible to those other users unless they also delete it. We have no control over content that has been re-shared by other users, and the license to that content will persist until those users delete it as well.

For transparency, if you delete your account entirely, content on your personal profile will typically be deleted, but content you provided in other contexts (such as comments on another’s post, or content shared in a group) may remain if it’s part of another account’s data. Refer to our Privacy Policy or Help Center for more information on data retention practices.

5.3 Prohibited Content and Conduct

We are committed to maintaining a safe and respectful community on Glimpses. When you create or share content on Glimpses, or engage in any activity on the platform, you agree to follow our Community Guidelines and refrain from posting or doing anything that is illegal, harmful, or otherwise prohibited. You are responsible for the content you post and your activity on Glimpses. Without limitation, you agree NOT to:

  • Illegal Content/Activities: Post or share any content that is unlawful, illegal, or encourages illegal activities. This includes content that is defamatory, obscene, pornographic (including child sexual abuse material), vulgar, sexually explicit, exploitative of minors, harassing, libelous, hateful, or otherwise violates any law or regulation. You also may not use Glimpses for any fraudulent or criminal purposes (such as extortion, trafficking, terrorism, or to plan or engage in violent or criminal behavior).
  • Hate Speech and Harassment: Engage in bullying, harassment, or hate speech. Do not post content that attacks or incites violence against any person or group based on attributes such as race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sex, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or medical condition. Personal threats, serious harassment of others, and encouragement of self-harm or suicide are strictly prohibited.
  • Violence and Graphic Content: Share excessively graphic, violent, or gory content, or any content that glorifies violence or suffering. If violent or graphic content is posted in a news or educational context, it should be clearly marked with a warning, and may be subject to age restrictions or removal at our discretion. Content that promotes terrorism, violent extremism, or criminal organizations is forbidden.
  • Privacy Violations and Personal Data: Post anyone’s personal or private information without their consent. This includes sensitive data like phone numbers, addresses, financial information, Aadhar numbers, account passwords, or intimate images of a person that were taken or shared without their consent. Doxxing (revealing someone’s identity or personal details to harass or endanger them) is not allowed.
  • Impersonation and Misrepresentation: Impersonate any person or organization, or misrepresent your affiliation with a person or organization, in a manner that is intended to or does mislead, confuse, or deceive others. Parody, fan, or commentary accounts should be clearly labeled as such to avoid confusion. You may not use someone else’s name, image, or trademark in a misleading way.
  • Intellectual Property Infringement: Upload or share content that you do not have the right to share. You must not post content that infringes or violates the copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights of others. This includes uploading pirated media, using someone else’s artwork, music, or videos without permission, or otherwise violating any proprietary rights (see Section 5.6 below for more on copyright and IP).
  • Spam and Malicious Activity: Engage in spamming, phishing, or spreading malware. You agree not to use Glimpses to transmit unsolicited or bulk communications, promotions, or advertisements without proper authorization. Creating or distributing harmful software, viruses, worms, Trojan horses, corrupted files, or anything that could disrupt or harm the functionality of the platform or others’ devices is strictly prohibited.
  • Automated Access and Data Scraping: Access or use the Services through unauthorized automated means. You may not crawl, scrape, spider, or use bots or automated scripts to collect users’ content or information, or otherwise systematically extract data from Glimpses, without our prior written permission. Likewise, you may not attempt to bypass any technical measures we have in place to restrict automated access or platform use.
  • Interference with the Service: Do not interfere with or disrupt the operation of Glimpses. This means you will not attempt to hack, attack, disable, overburden, or impair the proper working of the platform or our associated networks and systems. Prohibited actions include attempting to circumvent security features, introducing malicious code, reverse-engineering our software, or probing/testing the vulnerability of our systems without authorization.
  • Misuse of Features: Use Glimpses’s features only as intended. For example, do not use the reporting or complaint functions in bad faith or to harass others, do not artificially manipulate engagement metrics (likes, followers) via scripts or fake accounts, and do not misuse payment or monetization features (such as by engaging in fraudulent transactions or money laundering).
  • Unauthorized Commercial Activities: Without our express permission, you may not use Glimpses to run illegal pyramid schemes, contests or sweepstakes that violate applicable laws, or to sell or buy regulated goods such as weapons, drugs, or other controlled substances. If you engage in any allowed commercial activities (like legitimate e-commerce), you must comply with all applicable laws and our Commerce Policies (if available).

This list of prohibited content and conduct is not exhaustive. Any behavior that violates applicable law or regulations, or that we determine to pose a risk to our community or the security/integrity of the platform, can result in enforcement action. Your use of Glimpses must also adhere to any applicable local laws. You are solely responsible for ensuring that your content and conduct are in compliance with all laws and with these Terms at all times.

5.4 Content Moderation and Enforcement

Creatoors Tech Private Limited reserves the right to moderate the content on Glimpses and enforce these Terms at its discretion in order to maintain a safe and lawful community. We have broad enforcement rights in case of violations. Our moderation may include using automated systems and human reviewers to detect potential violations of our Terms or Community Guidelines. However, we do not guarantee that we will monitor all content, and you should not assume that we actively monitor or will remove specific content. You use the platform understanding you might encounter content that is inaccurate, objectionable, or inappropriate, and you agree that you use Glimpses at your own risk.

If we determine (in our sole discretion) that you have clearly, seriously, or repeatedly breached these Terms or our policies (in particular, our Community Guidelines), we may take action to enforce the rules. Enforcement actions may include, but are not limited to:

  • Content Removal or Restriction: We may remove, block, or disable access to any content that violates these Terms or that we deem unlawful, harmful, or objectionable. This can apply to posts, comments, messages, or any user-generated content on the platform. In some cases, instead of removal we might apply interstitial warnings or age-gates (for instance, marking content as sensitive).
  • Account Actions: We may limit or suspend your account’s functionality, such as revoking certain features (e.g., you may be temporarily blocked from posting or messaging). For more severe or repeated violations, we may suspend or permanently disable your account and all access to the Services. Account suspension or termination can also occur if we believe you are misusing the platform in ways that expose us or others to legal liability, harm users, or interfere with the platform’s integrity or operation.
  • Account Termination Criteria: In particular, your account may be permanently disabled or deleted if we find that: (a) you have repeatedly or egregiously violated our content policies or engaged in prohibited conduct; (b) you have repeatedly infringed other people’s intellectual property rights (e.g., multiple copyright strikes) or we are required by law to delete/suspend your account; (c) your account was registered but not confirmed, or remains inactive for an extended period of time after registration; or (d) we detect that your account may have been compromised or used by an unauthorized person and we are unable to verify that you are the legitimate owner.
  • Other Actions: We may issue warnings to you, require you to complete certain checks (such as verifying your identity) before restoring access, or remove offending features (for example, if you abuse a particular feature, we might disable that feature for you). In some cases, we might also take legal action against offenders, especially if their actions caused harm or violated the law (such as involvement in fraud or security breaches).

When reasonably possible and lawful, we will attempt to notify you of any enforcement action taken against your content or account, and provide you with the general reason for our action. For example, we might send you an email or in-app notification if content is removed or your account is suspended, along with instructions on how to appeal or seek review. However, we are not obligated to provide notice or an opportunity to appeal in all cases. We might not notify you or allow an appeal if doing so could: (i) impede an investigation, or allow you to conceal or destroy evidence; (ii) cause harm or liability to someone (for instance, notifying you could risk someone’s safety or violate the law); (iii) compromise the integrity of our system or our detection methods; or (iv) if we are legally prohibited from doing so. In such cases, we may take action without prior notice. India only (post-launch) - Statutory complaint and appeal pathways (including GAC) are set out on our Grievance Redressal page referenced in Section 5.5.

If you believe we made a mistake in removing your content or suspending your account, you can contact us to request a review. Follow the instructions in the notice (if provided) or reach out via support@glimpses.app. We will review your appeal and inform you of our decision, which will be final. If your account has been disabled or terminated and your appeals are denied (or if we do not offer an appeal in your case), you must cease using Glimpses. Creating a new account to circumvent a ban is a violation of these Terms and may result in further enforcement.

We also reserve the right to terminate or suspend the service (or portions of it) for all users or for specific regions if necessary (for example, to comply with a legal order, or in the event of a security emergency or other extraordinary circumstances). We may also remove or modify any feature of the service at any time as needed to comply with law or to ensure the well-being of the platform and its community.

5.5 Reporting & Support

5.5.1 Pre-launch/private pilot.

Until Glimpses publicly launches in India, please report issues to support@glimpses.app or use the contact page. We will acknowledge within 3 business days and aim to respond within 15 days. Statutory grievance timelines/officer designations will activate on public launch in India.

5.5.2 Post-launch.

Upon public launch in India, Creatoors Tech Private Limited will prominently publish—on a dedicated Grievance Redressal page in-app/on our website—the name and contact details of our Grievance Officer and a webform/email mechanism to submit complaints. The Grievance Officer will:

  • Acknowledge within 24 hours and resolve within 15 days;
  • Act within 24 hours on qualifying intimate-image/sexual-act/impersonation complaints;
  • Provide a mechanism to submit necessary details.

5.5.3 Appeals.

Where applicable law provides, users may appeal a Grievance Officer decision—or delays past the statutory period—to India’s Grievance Appellate Committee (GAC) within 30 days. We will comply with GAC orders.

5.5.4 If/when we cross the “SSMI” threshold.

If Glimpses is notified as a Significant Social Media Intermediary (SSMI) (currently defined by the government notification at ≥5,000,000 registered users in India), we will implement the additional due-diligence obligations (e.g., Chief Compliance Officer, Nodal Contact Person, Resident Grievance Officer resident in India, monthly compliance reports) within the prescribed timelines.

5.5.5 Where to contact us now.

Pilot-phase support: support@glimpses.app. On public launch, the statutory grievance contact points will be listed on our Grievance Redressal page at https://www.glimpses.app/contact (with support@glimpses.app and webform).

5.6 Intellectual Property and Copyright Infringement

Your Intellectual Property: As noted, you retain ownership of the content you post on Glimpses. You should only post content that you have the rights to share. By posting content, you promise that you either own the content or have obtained all necessary rights, licenses, consents, and permissions to lawfully share it on Glimpses and to grant the license in Section 5.1. This means, for example, that you will not upload videos, music, images, or text owned by someone else (such as movies, songs, articles, or images you found on the internet) unless you have permission or your use is otherwise legally authorized (like under fair use or other exceptions). You also agree not to misuse others’ trademarks (e.g., using someone’s brand name or logo in a way that confuses people as to your affiliation). You will be solely responsible for any content you post that violates someone else’s rights. Creatoors Tech Private Limited may remove or disable content in response to notices of alleged infringement, and repeat infringers may have their accounts terminated.

Creatoors Tech Private Limited Intellectual Property: The Glimpses platform, including our logos, trademarks, branding, software code, and all content provided by us (such as text or images we create, or the design/layout of our app and website) is owned by or licensed to Creatoors Tech Private Limited, and is protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a personal, worldwide, royalty-free, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use and access our software and services for your own use, solely as permitted by these Terms and any usage policies. You may not use Glimpses logos or branding without our prior written permission, except as allowed by our brand guidelines (if available). You must not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our services or software, nor may you reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code from the software, unless you have our explicit permission or such restriction is prohibited by law. Any rights not expressly granted to you are reserved by Creatoors Tech Private Limited and its licensors.

Copyright Infringement Notifications (DMCA or equivalent): Creatoors Tech Private Limited respects intellectual property rights and complies with applicable copyright laws. If you believe that any content on Glimpses infringes your copyright (for example, someone posted your original work without authorization), you or your authorized agent may send us a copyright infringement notice. The notice should include: (a) identification of the work claimed to be infringed; (b) identification of the content on our platform that allegedly infringes it (with URL or account name to help us locate it); (c) contact information of the complaining party (name, address, email, phone); (d) a statement that the complaining party has a good faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the owner, its agent, or the law; (e) a statement that the information in the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that the complaining party is the owner or authorized to act on the owner’s behalf; and (f) a physical or electronic signature of the owner or their agent. Notices should be sent to support@glimpses.app with the subject “Copyright Infringement Notice.”

Upon receiving a proper infringement notice, we will expeditiously remove or disable access to the reported content as required by law, and notify the user who posted it (if feasible). That user may have the right to submit a counter-notification if they believe the takedown is mistaken. Counter-notifications should also be sent to support@glimpses.app and include similar detail: specific content removed, a statement under penalty of perjury of good faith belief the content was removed due to mistake or misidentification, consent to jurisdiction in the user’s address (or where Creatoors Tech Private Limited is located if overseas), and a signature. We will follow applicable legal procedures upon receiving counter-notices.

Repeat Infringers: In accordance with applicable law (including India’s IT Act and international standards), Creatoors Tech Private Limited will terminate, in appropriate circumstances, users who are deemed to be repeat infringers of copyrights or other IP rights. If you receive multiple copyright complaints or strikes, we may suspend or delete your account as described in Section 5.4. We also reserve the right to disable accounts based on one single egregious act of infringement or other unlawful activity.

Other Intellectual Property Complaints: If your content is removed due to a copyright notice, and you believe this was erroneous, you can submit a counter-notice as described above. For other IP issues such as trademark infringement or impersonation, please contact support@glimpses.app with the relevant details of your complaint. We have procedures in place to review such complaints and will address them as appropriate, which may include removing or disabling offending content or accounts.

6. Platform Features and Additional Terms

Glimpses includes a variety of features and functionalities. The following sub-sections describe specific terms or clarifications for particular features or use cases on the platform. These provisions are in addition to the rest of the Terms, and to the extent there is any conflict, these specific provisions will govern for the respective feature. Users who utilize these features agree to the terms below relevant to their use.

6.1 Advertising and Promotions

Aside from seeing advertisements on Glimpses (Section 3 above), you may also use Glimpses as an advertiser or to create/promote content. If you use our self-serve ad tools or other promotional features to create advertisements, sponsored posts, or other commercial messages (“Ads”), you must comply with our Ads Policy and any Commercial Terms we provide. For example, if you purchase ads or paid promotions on Glimpses, you agree to any payment terms and guidelines provided at the time of purchase. We may require you to undergo an authorization process (such as verifying your business or identity) before allowing you to run certain types of ads (for instance, political or issue-based ads may require additional verification by law or policy).

When providing advertising or sponsorships on the Service, you are responsible for ensuring your Ads comply with all applicable laws and regulations (e.g., truth-in-advertising laws, data protection laws) and do not contain prohibited content. Prohibited content for Ads includes anything listed in Section 5.3 (hate speech, illegal products, etc.), as well as false or misleading claims, get-rich-quick schemes, or any content that would violate our Ads Policy. We reserve the right to reject or remove any advertisement that we deem contrary to our policies or the law. Advertising content must be clearly distinguishable as such; you must not present ads in a way that confuses them with user-generated content or editorial content.

By submitting or paying for an ad or promotional content on Glimpses, you grant us permission to display and disseminate that content across the platform and our partner sites as applicable. You also give us the right to optimize and measure the performance of your ads (for example, we might format your ad for different screen sizes, or run it to an audience likely to engage). We may use automated systems to assess Ads for policy compliance. Payment for ads must be timely made; you are responsible for all charges to your ad account. Late payment or failure to pay may result in suspension of your ad campaigns or additional fees.

We may provide advertisers with performance reports about their ads (e.g., number of impressions or clicks). These reports do not contain personal data identifying individual users unless consented; they are typically aggregated. As an advertiser, you agree not to use any data obtained from us about users who interact with your ads except to assess performance and in accordance with applicable privacy laws. If you receive or process personal data from ad campaigns, you must handle it in compliance with all data protection laws and our instructions.

If you advertise or promote a contest, sweepstakes, or offer via Glimpses, you are solely responsible for ensuring it complies with all legal requirements (such as official rules, terms, eligibility, and compliance with regulatory guidelines). We do not assist with administering your promotions and will not be liable for any claims associated with them. You should clearly state that your promotion is not associated with or endorsed by Glimpses or Creatoors Tech Private Limited (unless we have expressly agreed to partner with you on it).

6.2 Live Streaming

Glimpses may offer live streaming features that allow you to broadcast real-time video and audio content to other users. By using the live streaming service, you agree to all the standard rules of content and conduct outlined in Section 5.3 (they apply equally, if not more stringently, to live content). Because live streams occur in real time, you acknowledge that Creatoors Tech Private Limited may not be able to monitor or remove content during the live broadcast. However, we reserve the right to terminate or interrupt a live stream if we become aware that it violates our Terms or Community Guidelines (for example, if we detect nudity, violence, or other prohibited material being shown live). We may also employ automated systems to flag potentially violating live content and take action, including cutting off the stream if necessary to prevent harm.

If you host a live stream, you are responsible for what is shown or communicated during your broadcast. Do not share content in a live stream that is illegal, harmful, or violates these Terms. In addition, when streaming, do not endanger yourself or others – for example, do not live stream while driving or performing an activity that requires your full attention, and do not encourage anyone to perform dangerous or illegal acts on camera. If your live broadcast includes other people (co-hosts or bystanders), ensure you have the rights or their consent to include them. You must not stream content that invades someone’s privacy without authorization (e.g., secretly recording someone).

We may record and store live streams (either automatically or at your option) to make them available for replay and for content moderation purposes. By streaming on Glimpses, you grant us the rights to store, copy, and playback your stream for these purposes, similar to the content license in Section 5.1. If you use music or third-party content in your live stream, ensure you have the rights to do so; copyright rules apply to live broadcasts just as to uploaded videos. If we receive takedown notices or detect copyright violations in your streams, we may mute or remove the archived video and issue strikes as necessary.

For viewers: be aware that live streams may sometimes contain unfiltered content. Viewer discretion is advised, and if you encounter a live stream violating our policies, please report it immediately.

6.3 In-App Purchases and Payments

Glimpses may offer certain paid products, services, or in-app purchases, such as premium features, virtual goods/currency, subscription upgrades, or other digital content. If you choose to make a purchase through Glimpses, either from us or from other users (e.g., buying merchandise from a creator’s storefront), the following terms apply:

  • Payment Processors: Payments on Glimpses might be processed via third-party app store billing (such as Apple App Store or Google Play) or other third-party payment processors. These transactions are subject to the terms and conditions of those platforms in addition to our Terms. For instance, if you purchase an item through the Google Play in-app purchase system, Google’s payment terms will apply. Creatoors Tech Private Limited disclaims liability for issues attributable to third-party payment platforms, but we will use commercially reasonable efforts to assist in resolving such issues.
  • Authorized Payments: You agree to provide accurate billing information and authorize Creatoors Tech Private Limited (or its designated payment processor) to charge the specified payment method for the full amount of the purchase (including any applicable taxes or fees). All charges are in the currency specified at purchase (unless otherwise stated). If your payment fails or is rejected, we may suspend or cancel the transaction. You are responsible for any charges or fees that your payment provider may impose as a result of the transaction (for example, foreign transaction fees or overdraft charges).
  • No Unauthorized Transactions: You must be an authorized user of the payment method (e.g., the credit card or digital wallet account) you use. If we suspect any fraudulent or unauthorized transaction, we may refuse to process it, or we may cancel the transaction and prevent delivery of the purchased item. We also reserve the right to disable or remove any content or feature obtained through a fraudulent transaction.
  • Virtual Goods and Currency: If Glimpses offers virtual currency (e.g., coins, tokens) or virtual goods (like stickers, badges, digital gifts, etc.) for purchase, you understand that these are digital items with no monetary value outside Glimpses. Virtual currency and goods can only be used within Glimpses and cannot be exchanged for real money or refunded (except where required by law). You do not “own” virtual goods; instead, you purchase a limited, non-transferable, revocable license to use them within the service. We reserve the right to adjust the pricing, availability, and functionality of virtual goods/currency. All sales of virtual goods/currency are final and non-refundable, except at our sole discretion or as required by applicable law.
  • Subscriptions and Renewals: If you purchase a subscription to a service or feature on Glimpses (for example, a premium account tier or a channel membership), it may be set to automatically renew at the end of each subscription period (monthly, yearly, or as stated). Prior to charging for renewal, we will notify you of the upcoming charge as required by law. You can cancel auto-renewal at any time through your account settings or the platform through which you subscribed. If you cancel, you will typically retain access to the subscribed features until the end of the paid period, and then your subscription will not renew. No refunds will be provided for partial subscription periods unless required by law.
  • Refunds: All charges and purchases are generally non-refundable, and there are no refunds or credits for partially used services or cancelled orders, except where we determine, in our sole discretion, that a refund is warranted (for example, if a purchased item is not delivered or a service is terminated early by us), or where required by local consumer protection law. If you believe you are entitled to a refund for any reason, you may contact support@glimpses.app and we will review your request. For purchases made through third-party platforms (like app stores), you may need to request refunds through those platforms directly, as we are subject to their policies.
  • Pricing and Taxes: All pricing for paid features or content will be indicated at the point of purchase. Prices are subject to change at any time at our discretion; however, price changes to subscriptions will typically apply only to future billing cycles after notice to you. You are responsible for any applicable taxes, duties, or other governmental fees or charges payable in connection with your purchase. If any such amounts are required to be collected by us, we will add them at checkout.

By completing a transaction, you accept the offer and agree to pay the corresponding fee. We reserve the right to cancel any order for reasons including errors in pricing, product description, or if we suspect the order is fraudulent. In the event of cancellation after payment, we will provide a refund of the amount charged (if payment was confirmed) unless the cancellation was due to your violation of these Terms.

6.4 Creator Monetization

Glimpses may provide opportunities for content creators or influencers (“Creators”) to monetize their content or audience. This could include programs such as ad revenue sharing on videos, fan subscriptions, tipping (viewer donations), paid live events, creator fund bonuses, e-commerce storefronts, or other tools that allow Creators to earn money. If you participate in any official Glimpses monetization program, the following terms apply:

  • Eligibility: Monetization features may have eligibility requirements (for example, a minimum number of followers, watch hours, or age requirements such as being at least 18 years old for earning money). Each program might have its own criteria, which will be communicated in the program terms or guidelines. You must meet and maintain those criteria to participate. We reserve the right to modify eligibility requirements at any time, and to remove or disqualify Creators from programs if they no longer meet criteria or violate our Terms.
  • Additional Terms: Your participation will often be subject to agreeing to specific Creator Program Terms or Partner Agreements that provide details on revenue calculations, payout procedures, content requirements, etc. Those terms are supplemental and in addition to these Terms. In case of conflict, the specific monetization terms will govern for matters related to the program. For example, if you join an ad revenue sharing program, you may be required to agree to terms detailing how revenue is split, when payouts occur, and what content is eligible for monetization.
  • Adherence to Policies: Monetizing creators are held to high standards. All content you monetize must comply with our Terms and Community Guidelines, as well as any Monetization Policies (which might include content guidelines for advertiser-friendly material, etc.). If you violate any policies, we may disable or remove your monetization privileges, withhold payments, or remove you from the program. Serious misconduct (like fraudulently inflating view counts or engagement, or posting egregious content) can result in termination of your account and potential clawbacks of paid earnings if obtained through deceptive means.
  • Revenue and Payments: If you earn money through Glimpses, either from us (e.g., ad revenue share or bonuses) or from your audience (e.g., tips, subscriptions), you will generally accumulate earnings in your account. We will periodically remit payments to you according to the schedule and methods specified in the program terms (for instance, monthly payments via bank transfer once a minimum threshold is met). You are responsible for providing accurate payment information and keeping it updated. All earnings will be paid in the currency and method we offer (we may allow you to select from available options). Creatoors Tech Private Limited may deduct any applicable service fees or commissions as outlined in the specific program terms, as well as any required tax withholdings.
  • Taxes: You are responsible for all applicable taxes on your earnings. Creatoors Tech Private Limited may withhold taxes from payout where required by law (for example, if tax regulations mandate withholding for foreign payees). We may ask you to provide tax identification information (like a PAN for Indian creators or a W-8/W-9 form for U.S. tax purposes) before releasing payments. If you fail to provide required tax info, we may withhold payments until compliance is achieved. We will issue any required tax forms or reports as per legal requirements. It is your responsibility to report and pay any taxes due on your income from Glimpses in your jurisdiction.
  • Payout Adjustments and Fraud: We strive to accurately measure engagement and earnings, but all payout calculations are preliminary until actually paid out. We reserve the right to adjust your earnings (even after display in your dashboard) in cases of errors or suspected fraudulent activity. For instance, if we discover that views or interactions on your content were artificially inflated (through bots or click-farms), we may exclude or subtract those from your earnings. If we have already paid out funds that were generated by fraud or violation of terms, we reserve the right to offset or reclaim those amounts from future payments or by other legal means.
  • End of or Changes to Programs: Creatoors Tech Private Limited may modify or discontinue monetization programs at its discretion. If a program is terminated, we will attempt to give advance notice to participants and will pay out any remaining eligible earnings owed up to the termination date. We have no obligation to provide any monetization opportunities and participation is not a guarantee of any level of financial gain.

Monetization on Glimpses is a privilege, not a right. We appreciate our Creators and aim to share success, but maintaining the integrity, quality, and compliance of content is paramount. If you have questions about specific program rules, please refer to the additional terms provided when you join the program or contact support@glimpses.app for more information.

6.5 AI-Generated Content and Tools

Glimpses may incorporate artificial intelligence (“AI”) powered features to enhance the user experience – for example, AI filters, content recommendations, automated translations, chatbot assistants, image or text generation tools, or moderation systems. Additionally, users might post AI-generated or AI-assisted content on the platform. By using any AI features on Glimpses, you agree to the following:

  • Use of AI Features: Some features might allow you to input prompts or data and receive AI-generated outputs (such as images or text). You understand that AI is an evolving technology and the results may not always be accurate, complete, or appropriate. We do not guarantee the quality or fitness of AI outputs for any particular purpose. Use these features at your own risk and discretion.
  • AI Content Responsibility: Content generated by AI tools at your request is considered user-generated content that you are providing to the platform (even if created with our tool). Therefore, such content is subject to all the same rules as any content you post (see Section 5). You are responsible for AI-generated content you publish on Glimpses. For example, if you use an AI image generator on Glimpses to create an image, you must ensure the image does not violate copyright (some AI may produce output that is similar to copyrighted images) or other policies (no disallowed explicit or hateful imagery). Do not use AI tools to create content that you are not permitted to post. If AI output includes any personal data or sensitive info, treat it appropriately.
  • Misuse of AI: You may not use Glimpses’s AI features (or any content on the platform) to generate disinformation or maliciously fabricated content intended to deceive (e.g., deepfakes presented as real) especially in ways that could cause harm. Any AI-generated content that impersonates or falsely represents itself as being from someone else is prohibited unless clearly disclosed as parody (as per impersonation rules in 5.3).
  • Data for AI: Using our AI features may involve processing of the data you input. For example, if you ask an AI chatbot a question, the prompt and response may be logged. Our Privacy Policy describes how we handle such data. We might also use content on Glimpses to train or improve our AI models (for instance, using public posts to fine-tune recommendation algorithms or content that you label as offensive to improve automated moderation). By using Glimpses, you acknowledge that your content and interactions (in aggregated or de-identified form) may be used to enhance our services, including AI systems, in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable laws. We will not use any personal chats or non-public content for AI training without consent, except as allowed by law or necessary for safety/moderation.
  • Transparency: We will endeavor to clearly mark or disclose AI-generated content or interactions provided by Glimpses (for example, if you are chatting with an AI persona, it will be identified as such). However, we do not automatically label content that users themselves post even if they made it with an AI tool. It is up to users to be honest about their content’s origin when relevant. If required by law or platform policy, you must identify AI-generated media (for example, some jurisdictions may require disclosure of deepfake images or synthetic media).
  • Limitations: AI features might have usage limits, may produce errors, or may be unavailable at times. We can modify or disable any AI feature at any time. Additionally, we might implement safeguards such as filtered keywords or refusal to generate certain types of content to prevent misuse. Attempting to circumvent these safeguards (like tricking the AI into violating rules) is a violation of these Terms.

We appreciate feedback on our AI tools to help improve them. However, use of Glimpses’s AI is provided “as-is” and without any warranty. Creatoors Tech Private Limited disclaims liability for any outcome or decision you make based on AI-generated content. Always exercise your own judgment, especially for important matters. If the AI provides information (such as answers to questions), consider verifying critical information from reliable sources.

6.6 Third-Party Links and Integrations

Glimpses may contain links to third-party websites or services, or allow you to share content to/from third-party platforms. For example, users might post a YouTube video link, or Glimpses might offer a feature to share your posts to another social network, or third-party developers might integrate their app with Glimpses via our API. Your use of third-party services through Glimpses is at your own risk. Such third-party sites or services are not under Creatoors Tech Private Limited’s control, and we do not endorse or assume responsibility for any third-party websites, apps, or services. If you click a link to an external site or use a third-party service (including those that interact with Glimpses), be aware that your use is governed by their own terms and privacy policies, not ours. Creatoors Tech Private Limited is not responsible for the content, functionality, or practices of any third-party.

If you use a third-party integration that accesses your Glimpses account data (for example, using a third-party app that lets you schedule posts or manage your Glimpses account), you must ensure that you have reviewed and are comfortable with the third party’s permissions and data practices. Granting access to your Glimpses account to others (including third-party apps) is at your discretion; however, you remain responsible for actions taken on your account by such parties. Make sure you only use trusted services. We may restrict third-party apps or integrations that we deem insecure or abusive. You can revoke third-party access to your account via your settings on Glimpses if you previously granted it.

Some content on Glimpses might be embedded from third-party sources (for instance, a preview of a YouTube video or a map widget). These are provided for convenience, but we don’t guarantee their accuracy or availability. If any embedded third-party content violates your rights or applicable law, please inform us, and we will look into removing the link/preview as needed.

6.7 Developer API and Platform Use

If Glimpses offers an API (Application Programming Interface) or other developer tools that allow others to interact with Glimpses data or functionality, any use of such API is subject to our Developer Terms (which will be provided if we have a public API). In general, developers must use our API responsibly: respecting user privacy, not scraping or collecting data beyond what is allowed, not introducing security threats, and not misrepresenting their integration as being official Glimpses product. We may set rate limits or require API keys for usage. We can suspend or revoke API access for any abuse or violation of our policies.

If you build or use a third-party application that uses Glimpses’s API or data, note that: (a) you cannot store or export Glimpses user data without permission except for the limited purposes the API allows; (b) you should adhere to any data retention and deletion requirements (for example, if a user deletes content on Glimpses, you may be required to delete it from your app as well); (c) do not use Glimpses APIs for spam, surveillance, or any unlawful conduct.

We may also offer social login or similar features (e.g., “Log in with Glimpses” on other sites). If you use Glimpses credentials to authenticate on a third-party app via OAuth or similar, you agree that Glimpses may share the necessary account info (like a user ID or token) with that third party to fulfill the login. That third party should inform you what data they access and how they use it.

7. Privacy and Data Use

Your privacy is very important to us. Our Privacy Policy explains in detail what data we collect from you and how we use, share, and protect it. We strongly encourage you to read the Privacy Policy to understand our practices. By using Glimpses, you acknowledge that we will collect and process your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable laws. If you do not agree to how we handle your data as described, please discontinue use of the platform.

Here are some key points regarding privacy and data use (for convenience, but not a substitute for the full Privacy Policy):

  • Data You Provide: When you use Glimpses, you provide certain data to us, such as account registration information (e.g., name, email, phone number), profile details, the content you post or upload, and messages you send. We also collect information about how you use the platform, such as the people or pages you follow, interactions (likes, comments), and other activities. If you enable features like location tagging, we may process your location. We may also receive data from third parties if you link other services to Glimpses.
  • How We Use Data: We use your data to operate and personalize the service (for example, showing you relevant content or suggestions), to facilitate social connections, and to improve and develop our products (like fixing bugs, training algorithms, etc.). We also use data for safety and integrity efforts – identifying violations, preventing abuse, and keeping the community secure. Additionally, as noted, we use certain data to deliver personalized advertising and sponsored content to you. Our Privacy Policy details the categories of data and specific uses.
  • Who We Share With: We may share your information with others in several scenarios: with other users (for instance, the content you post or basic profile info is visible to others as per your settings), with service providers and partners who help us run the service (e.g., cloud storage providers, analytics services, ad partners – under strict data use agreements), and with law enforcement or authorities when we are required by law or to protect rights and safety (more on that below). We do not share personally identifying information with advertisers unless you allow it (we might, for example, let you opt-in to seeing customized ads from certain partners). We may also share aggregated data (that cannot identify you) publicly or with partners, such as trends about usage.
  • Data Retention: We keep your personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by law. Content you post is stored until you delete it or delete your account, and then is handled as described in Section 5.2. Some data may be kept longer in backup archives or if required for legal disputes or enforcement (again, see Section 5.2).
  • User Controls: Glimpses provides settings and controls so you can manage your privacy. For example, you may be able to set your profile or certain posts to private, control who can see your content or send you messages, or opt out of certain data collection (like analytics or personalized ads) where applicable. We also respect rights granted by applicable law, such as the right to access or delete your personal data, and the right to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. Please refer to the Privacy Policy and in-app settings for how to exercise these options.
  • Cookies & Tracking: We and our partners use cookies and similar technologies to provide and personalize the service (e.g., keeping you logged in, remembering preferences) and for advertising and analytics. Our Cookie Policy (usually part of Privacy Policy) provides details on these technologies. By using Glimpses, you consent to our use of cookies as described (to the extent your consent is required by law, we will obtain it through a banner or settings). You can control cookies through your browser or device settings, but some parts of the service may not function properly if cookies are disabled.

Government and Legal Requests: Creatoors Tech Private Limited may access, preserve, and disclose information about you to government or law enforcement officials, regulators, or private parties if we believe in good faith that such disclosure is necessary to: (a) comply with any applicable law, regulation, legal process, or enforceable governmental request (such as a court order, law enforcement demand, or investigative request); (b) enforce these Terms, investigate potential violations, or protect the security or integrity of our platform; (c) respond to user support requests; or (d) protect the rights, property, or safety of Creatoors Tech Private Limited, our users, or the public as required or permitted by law. This means, for example, that if we receive a lawful subpoena or order to disclose user data (like user communications or login records) from Indian authorities or any competent authority, we may be obligated to comply. We will try to notify users of requests for their information before disclosure when possible and legally permitted, but we may be prevented from doing so or consider that it would be counterproductive in some cases.

Data Security: We take reasonable measures to protect your information from unauthorized access or disclosure. However, no online service is completely secure. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your login credentials as noted in Section 4. If you suspect any unauthorized access to your personal data or account, please contact us immediately.

8. Security and Acceptable Use

We prioritize the security of Glimpses and our users. While we try our best to safeguard the platform, we also rely on you to use the service responsibly and not undermine its security. By using Glimpses, you agree to the following additional security and acceptable use commitments:

  • No Hacking or Exploiting: You will not attempt to compromise the security of Glimpses or others’ accounts. This includes not attempting to hack, scan, or test the vulnerability of Glimpses’s systems or networks without authorization. You agree not to introduce code or software that harms or hijacks the operation of the service (such as malware, viruses, trojan horses). Additionally, you won’t attempt to bypass any security feature or access control that we have implemented (for example, you will not try to access data or areas of the service that you are not allowed to access).
  • Account Protection: You will use a strong, unique password for your Glimpses account and keep it confidential. Do not share your password or give others access to your account. If you use a public computer or someone else’s device to log in, ensure you log out properly. We recommend enabling two-factor authentication if we support it. If you discover any compromise of your account or suspect unauthorized access, notify us immediately at support@glimpses.app. We may request information to verify your identity before assisting with regaining access.
  • Respect Our Resources: You agree not to use automated scripts or bots to unduly burden or disrupt our service (like mass-creating accounts, scraping content, or spamming) beyond what is allowed (as noted in Section 5.3 regarding automated access). You will not perform any action that imposes an unreasonable or disproportionately large load on our infrastructure. If we provide official methods to retrieve user data (like an API), use those rather than scraping, and abide by their rules.
  • Vulnerability Reporting: We value the help of ethical security researchers. If you find a vulnerability or security flaw in Glimpses, please report it to us in a responsible manner (for example, via emailing at support@glimpses.app or through any bug bounty program we operate). Do not publicly disclose the issue until we have had a reasonable chance to address it. Responsible disclosure is encouraged and will not result in account action, provided you do not exploit the vulnerability beyond what is necessary to demonstrate it and you comply with any bug bounty/ responsible disclosure guidelines we publish. We do not waive any rights to take action against malicious or non-permitted exploits, but we will not pursue good-faith vulnerability testing that follows our guidelines.
  • No Misuse of User Data: If you somehow gain access to other users’ information (through a bug or otherwise) you must not save, share, or misuse that data. Accessing or using personal data of others without authorization is a serious violation of these Terms and may also be illegal.
  • No Circumvention: You will not attempt to circumvent any content filtering techniques, access restrictions, rate limits, or other measures we implement to regulate use of the service. For instance, if an aspect of the service is disabled for your account (due to region or for violating terms), you will not attempt to use another account or technical workaround to regain access.
  • Device Safety: We recommend that you keep your device’s software (operating system, anti-virus, etc.) up to date when using Glimpses. You understand that if your device is compromised, it could affect the security of your Glimpses account as well. We also advise caution when downloading or clicking on third-party links from Glimpses – even though we attempt to filter malicious links, we cannot guarantee all links on the platform are safe.
  • Prohibited Access Methods: You must not access Glimpses or collect data from it using methods not provided or authorized by us. This includes not using any “scraper,” “crawler,” or other automated means to view, access, or collect data from Glimpses other than in accordance with our robots.txt file or with our express permission. It also includes not trying to decompile or reverse engineer our source code, as noted before, or exploiting any API in a manner contrary to its documentation.

If you violate the above commitments or otherwise compromise the security or integrity of Glimpses, we may take enforcement actions as described in Section 5.4, including legal action if warranted. We remind you that unauthorized access to computer systems (hacking) is unlawful in many jurisdictions. We appreciate your cooperation in keeping Glimpses safe and secure for everyone.

9. Account Suspension, Termination, and Deletion

9.1 By You (Account Deletion)

You have the right to stop using Glimpses and delete your account at any time. If you choose to delete your account, you can do so through the account settings (if the functionality is provided) or by contacting us at support@glimpses.app with a request for account deletion. Deleting your account will typically involve a verification of your identity for security. Once your deletion request is processed:

  • Account Deletion Effects: Your profile will be deactivated and generally no longer visible to other users. Content that you have posted to your own account (photos, posts, videos, etc.) will begin the process of deletion from our active systems. This process may not be immediate – as noted, it may take a certain number of days for content to be fully removed from all servers and backups. During this time, the content will no longer be visible to other users. After deletion, we may retain logs, copies or certain data as required for legal compliance, record-keeping, and internal purposes, but such data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and kept no longer than necessary.
  • Shared Content: Content that you have shared with others (for example, messages you sent, posts you made in a group, or content others have re-shared) may continue to be visible to those other users after you delete your account, as it is part of their account or community unless they also delete it. We do not automatically delete content that is controlled by other accounts. For example, if you made a post in a community group, that post might remain visible to other group members even after your personal account is gone, though it may be anonymized (depending on our system’s design).
  • Retention for Legal Reasons: In some cases, we may retain certain information even after account deletion if necessary for legal obligations – such as if your account was involved in a dispute, we may preserve records, or if we are required by law enforcement to maintain certain data (e.g., under a preservation order). We may also keep information to enforce our rights (for example, records of accounts that were terminated for violations, to prevent repeat abuse). Such information will be retained as long as necessary and then deleted or anonymized.

If you delete your account and later change your mind, you might not be able to recover it. We typically do not guarantee that an account can be restored once deletion is finalized. (Some services offer a short grace period – if we do, it will be described in the deletion flow). If you wish to use Glimpses again, you may need to create a new account. Your old username may become available to others after deletion or after some period, at our discretion.

9.2 By Creatoors Tech Private Limited (Suspension or Termination)

As detailed in Section 5.4, Creatoors Tech Private Limited may suspend or terminate your account if we determine that you have violated these Terms, applicable laws, or if we have another legitimate reason to do so (such as protection of the community, compliance with legal requirements, or prolonged inactivity). Below is a summary of scenarios and our practices:

  • Suspension: We may suspend your access to your account or certain features temporarily while we investigate suspected misconduct or during an appeal process. During suspension, you may not be able to log in or use parts of the service, but your account and content usually remain intact. We aim to resolve suspensions promptly once the underlying issue is resolved, but they can become terminations if violations are confirmed.
  • Termination/Disabling: We may permanently disable or terminate your account if we confirm serious or repeated violations of these Terms or if required by law. Termination means you will no longer have access to your account, your profile may be taken down, and you may be prohibited from creating a new account. We reserve the right to delete or anonymize your user content in such cases, especially if keeping it would violate law or the rights of others. In less severe cases, we might just remove specific content or features instead of terminating the whole account.
  • Grounds for Termination: Grounds include (but are not limited to) using the service for illegal activities, harassment or hate speech, severe intellectual property infringement, fraud, posing a security risk, or if you are identified as a repeat infringer under copyright rules. We may also terminate if we are legally obligated – for instance, if a court or government order mandates that we ban you or remove your account, or if retaining your account would put us in legal jeopardy. Additionally, as noted, extended inactivity after account creation or failure to confirm your account (e.g., not verifying your email/phone) might result in account removal to free up usernames and manage our platform resources.
  • Notification: If we terminate your account, we will where reasonably possible inform you that your account has been terminated or disabled. We may provide a general reason (e.g., “for violating Community Guidelines regarding hate speech”), and information on how to contact us if you believe this was in error. In some cases, we may not be able to provide detailed information (due to legal constraints or security reasons). If you believe your account was wrongfully terminated, you can reach out for explanation or appeal, but please note that decisions, especially for egregious violations, may be final.
  • Post-Termination: If your account is terminated by us, these Terms will also terminate as an agreement between you and us, except for provisions that survive (see Section 15). You must stop using Glimpses and must not attempt to create a new account without our permission. We reserve the right to deny any new account you create (by blacklisting your email, phone, IP, or other identifiers) if we have reason to believe it’s you trying to circumvent a ban.

9.3 Effect of Termination

Whether your account is deleted by you or terminated by us, the following applies:

  • Content and Data: As explained, content deletion will follow Section 5.2. We will handle your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which may include retaining certain information for record-keeping or legal compliance.
  • License Survival: The license you granted us to use your content (Section 5.1) will end for most content upon deletion. However, any content that remains on the platform (for example, content other users have shared that wasn’t deleted) will still be covered by that license until it is removed. Also, any content we must retain for legal reasons will remain under license until deletion.
  • No Access: You will lose access to any features that require an account. You will not be entitled to refunds for any unused services or virtual goods, except where required by law or explicitly provided (for example, if we terminate a subscription without cause, we might refund the prorated remaining term).
  • Outstanding Obligations: Any provision of these Terms that by its nature should survive termination will survive. This includes sections related to liability, indemnification, dispute resolution, governing law, and any licenses granted to us (to the extent needed for content that remains). Any unpaid fees or charges you owe to Creatoors Tech Private Limited remain due even after termination.

If you have multiple accounts and one is terminated, we may terminate your other accounts if they are found to be implicated in the same violations or to prevent circumvention.

Finally, if we stop providing the Glimpses service altogether (shutdown), we will give users advance notice where possible and the opportunity to download their content (if applicable). In such an event, all user accounts may be terminated as part of discontinuation of the service, and these Terms would cease to apply, except for surviving sections.

10. Disclaimers of Warranties

Glimpses is provided to you on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis. While we strive to offer the best experience, we make no guarantees or warranties of any kind (express, implied or statutory) regarding the service. In particular:

  • Quality and Reliability: Creatoors Tech Private Limited does not warrant that the services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure. We do not guarantee that the content you see will always be accurate or that the platform will be free of harmful components (such as viruses), though we take measures to protect our systems. You use Glimpses at your own risk and discretion. Any material downloaded or obtained through the service is accessed at your own risk, and you will be solely responsible for any damage to your device or loss of data that results.
  • Implied Warranties: To the full extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We make no warranty that the service will meet your specific requirements or expectations, or that any particular results will arise from using the service. For example, we do not promise that using Glimpses will make you popular or that any business outcomes (like sales or leads from advertising) will occur.
  • Content and Conduct: We do not control or direct what users and others do or say on Glimpses, and so we disclaim responsibility for user-generated content and actions. This means we are not responsible for any content that you or other users post, share or otherwise provide, whether online or offline, via Glimpses. This content includes opinions, advice, statements, offers, or other information. We do not endorse any user content and specifically disclaim any liability for any person’s reliance on such content. You may be exposed to content that is inaccurate, objectionable, or otherwise unsuited to your purpose; we are not liable for that.
  • Third-Party Services: Any dealings you have with third parties (including users, advertisers, or others) through Glimpses are solely between you and them. We make no warranty regarding transactions executed through third-party integrations or the goods/services provided by others via Glimpses. If you buy something from another user or a linked site, that is not warranted by us.
  • No Warranty of Availability: We do not guarantee that the service will be available at any given time or geographic location. We may experience outages, delays, or errors, and we are not liable for any such interruptions. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of Glimpses at any time without notice (though we will try to notify for major changes).
  • Emerging Technologies: For features that involve new technology (like AI features described in 6.5), you acknowledge that such features are experimental and provided without any warranty as to their performance or accuracy.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so some of the above exclusions may not apply to you. In such cases, our warranties are limited to the minimum extent permitted by applicable law. If any warranty is legally required, it shall be the shortest duration or smallest scope that the law mandates.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Creatoors Tech Private Limited (and its directors, officers, employees, and agents) will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive or exemplary damages that result from your use of, or inability to use, Glimpses or any portion thereof. This includes, without limitation, damages for lost profits, loss of data, loss of goodwill, service downtime, device damage, or the cost of procurement of substitute services or goods, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

In particular, Creatoors Tech Private Limited will not be responsible for:

  • User Content Issues: any defamatory, offensive, or illegal conduct of any user or third party on the platform. You understand that our liability for content others post is nil, as we neither produce nor have full control over such content.
  • Security Breaches: unauthorized access to or alteration of your transmissions or data, or any harm, loss or damage resulting from malware that may be transmitted through our platform by a third party.
  • Interactions and Disputes: your interactions with other users (online or offline), including any harm or loss that may result from those interactions. While we may facilitate connections or provide a platform for communication, we are not liable for what happens between users.
  • Third-Party Links and Services: content, products, or services provided by third parties, even if accessed via a link on Glimpses.
  • Decision Making: decisions you make based on content on Glimpses or using our services, such as any medical, legal, financial, or career decisions. Always seek professional advice where appropriate; do not rely solely on information from our platform for important decisions.

Cap on Liability: To the extent that any liability is not legally excludable, in no event shall the total liability of Creatoors Tech Private Limited to you for all claims arising out of or relating to these Terms or the use of Glimpses exceed the amount (if any) that you paid us in the 6 months preceding the event giving rise to the liability or INR 1,000 (or equivalent in your local currency), whichever is greater. This means if, for example, you paid us ₹500 in the last six months for a subscription, our maximum aggregate liability would be ₹500 (assuming that’s higher than the baseline small amount we specify). If you have paid nothing, our liability would be capped at the nominal amount stated (which is meant to be minimal).

This limitation of liability is cumulative and not per-incident. The limitations outlined in this section shall apply to any theory of liability, whether based on warranty, contract, statute, tort (including negligence), or otherwise, and even if any limited remedy herein is found to have failed its essential purpose.

Exceptions: Some jurisdictions do not allow the limitation or exclusion of liability for incidental or consequential damages, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you. In those jurisdictions, the liability of Creatoors Tech Private Limited will be limited to the greatest extent permitted by law. Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit liability that cannot be excluded under law – for example, liability for death or personal injury caused by gross negligence or willful misconduct, or statutory liability that cannot be limited. But beyond those exceptions, the above limitations stand.

You acknowledge that Creatoors Tech Private Limited is offering Glimpses and setting the fees (if any) in reliance on the warranty disclaimers and liability limitations in these Terms, and that these provisions form an essential basis of the bargain between you and us.

12. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Creatoors Tech Private Limited and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees and costs) arising out of or in any way connected with: (a) your access to or use of Glimpses, including any content you post or information you provide; (b) your violation of these Terms or of any law or the rights of any third party; or (c) any claim that your content or conduct caused damage to a third party (for example, a claim of intellectual property infringement, defamation, or data privacy violation arising from something you posted or did on Glimpses).

We reserve the right, at our own expense, to assume the exclusive defense and control of any matter otherwise subject to indemnification by you. In such case, you agree to cooperate with our defense of that claim and not to settle any such matter without our prior written consent. You remain responsible for any claim until we explicitly assume control. This indemnification obligation will survive the termination of these Terms and your use of the service.

In simple terms, if someone else sues us because of something you did or posted, you’ll cover the costs. Users should therefore use the platform responsibly and in compliance with law to avoid such situations.

13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

Governing Law: These Terms and any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of Glimpses shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law principles. This means that if you take legal action concerning these Terms, Indian law will apply to interpret the Terms and govern the dispute.

Jurisdiction: You agree that the courts of Maharashtra, India (in particular, the appropriate courts located in Nagpur/Pune) shall have exclusive jurisdiction to hear and decide any lawsuit or legal dispute arising out of or related to these Terms or your use of Glimpses. You waive any objection to the venue of such courts, including any claim that such legal action has been brought in an inconvenient forum. If you reside in a country outside of India, you acknowledge and agree that you are voluntarily accessing the Glimpses service from India (as the service is operated from India), and thus Indian jurisdiction is appropriate for resolving disputes.

However, we reserve the right to seek injunctive or equitable relief in any jurisdiction if necessary to protect our interests (for example, to stop a cyberattack, intellectual property infringement, or enforce a judgment).

Arbitration Option: At our sole discretion, we may require you to submit any dispute that arises to binding arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 (India) or a similar statute, using a single arbitrator appointed by Creatoors Tech Private Limited. If invoked, the arbitration would take place in Nagpur, Maharashtra, India, in English, and the arbitrator’s award could be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction. We will inform you if we elect arbitration for a dispute. By agreeing to these Terms, you consent to any such arbitration if we choose it. (This does not apply to small claims that are within a court’s limited jurisdiction or to certain intellectual property claims, which either party may choose to pursue in court.)

EU/UK Consumers: If you are an EU or UK consumer, you may have certain mandatory rights to bring claims in your local jurisdiction under consumer protection laws. Nothing in this section is meant to override any rights you have that cannot be waived by contract under applicable consumer law. For instance, if under your local law you can bring a claim in your local courts despite a forum selection clause, this section does not restrict that.

Time Limit on Claims: To the extent permitted by law, any claim or cause of action arising out of or related to your use of Glimpses must be filed within one (1) year after such claim or cause of action arose, or else it will be permanently barred. This means if you have a dispute with us, you need to act on it promptly. The one-year period starts when the event giving rise to the claim first occurred; if you did not file within that time, you cannot file later (some jurisdictions do not allow such a time limit for consumers, in which case this paragraph may not apply to you).

14. Changes to These Terms

We are continually working to improve our services and adapt to new laws and regulatory requirements. As a result, we may need to update these Terms from time to time to accurately reflect our services and practices. If we make any significant changes, we will provide you with reasonable notice prior to the new terms taking effect, as required by law. We may notify you by email (sent to the address associated with your account) or through a notice on Glimpses (for example, via an in-app notification or banner). We will also update the “Effective Date” at the top of this document.

Review Changes: It is important that you review any proposed changes. By continuing to use Glimpses after updated Terms take effect, you agree to be bound by the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the updates, you have the right to stop using the service and delete your account before the new Terms apply. Continuing to use the service after the effective date of modifications will constitute acceptance of the changes.

We only make changes if we consider them to be reasonable and necessary (for example, if the provisions are no longer accurate or complete, or if required for safety and legal reasons). If we update the Terms and you continue using our products, the updated Terms will supersede any prior agreements.

Remember that other policies or supplemental terms may change as well; we will notify or obtain consent for those changes as required. Keep an eye on communications from us and feel free to reach out if you have questions about any changes.

15. Miscellaneous

15.1 Entire Agreement

These Terms (along with any additional terms referenced, such as our Privacy Policy, Community Guidelines, and any supplemental terms for specific features) constitute the entire agreement between you and Creatoors Tech Private Limited regarding your use of Glimpses, and supersede any prior agreements, understandings, or arrangements (whether oral or written) in relation to the subject matter hereof. Any earlier representations or statements are of no effect, unless explicitly incorporated herein. You acknowledge that in entering into these Terms, you have not relied on any representation not expressly set out in these Terms.

15.2 No Waiver

If we fail to enforce any provision of these Terms, that does not mean we waive our right to enforce it in the future. No waiver of any term shall be deemed a further or continuing waiver of that term or any other term. Similarly, no failure to object to a breach of these Terms shall prevent us from later enforcing that provision or any other provision. To be effective, any waiver of any provision of these Terms by Creatoors Tech Private Limited must be made in writing and signed by an authorized representative of Creatoors Tech Private Limited.

15.3 Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found by a court or arbitrator of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, that provision shall be enforced to the maximum extent permissible and the remaining provisions of these Terms shall remain in full force and effect. The invalid provision will be deemed modified to the least degree necessary to remedy the invalidity while retaining as much of the intent of the original provision as possible, or if that’s not possible, it will be severed from the Terms. The remaining provisions will continue to be valid and enforceable.

15.4 Assignment

You may not assign or transfer any of your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent. Any attempt by you to do so without consent is void. Creatoors Tech Private Limited may freely assign or transfer these Terms (in whole or in part) to any of its affiliates or in connection with a merger, acquisition, corporate reorganization, or sale of all or substantially all of its assets, or by operation of law or otherwise. These Terms shall bind and inure to the benefit of the parties, their successors, and permitted assigns.

15.5 No Third-Party Beneficiaries

These Terms do not confer any third-party beneficiary rights. The agreement is between you and Creatoors Tech Private Limited only. No third party (except our affiliates or successors-in-interest) has any rights to enforce any portion of these Terms. For example, even if you use Glimpses to log in to a third-party app, that third party cannot claim rights under this agreement.

15.6 Force Majeure

Creatoors Tech Private Limited will not be liable for any delay or failure to perform its obligations under these Terms if such delay or failure arises from any cause or causes beyond our reasonable control, including acts of God, natural disasters, war, terrorism, civil disturbances, strikes, pandemics, governmental actions, power or internet outages, or other similar events. In such cases, our obligations will be suspended for the duration of the event, and we will attempt to resume service as soon as practicable.

15.7 Communication and Notices

We may provide you with notices, including those regarding changes to these Terms or other matters, by email, regular mail, postings within Glimpses, or other reasonable means. For contractual purposes, you consent to receive communications from us electronically and agree that such electronic communications satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing. If you have questions or need to send us notices, you can contact us at support@glimpses.app or use our contact page. Unless you inform us otherwise, we will consider that you are able to receive communications electronically. Upon public launch in India, Creatoors Tech Private Limited will prominently publish (in-app and on our website) the Grievance Officer’s name, contact details, and complaint mechanism, as required by applicable law.

15.8 Relationship of Parties

These Terms do not create any agency, partnership, joint venture, employment, or franchise relationship between you and Creatoors Tech Private Limited. You and Creatoors Tech Private Limited are independent contractors. You may not make any commitments or representations on our behalf without our written consent.

15.9 Headings and Interpretation

Section headings in these Terms are for convenience only and have no legal effect. Where context requires, the singular includes the plural, and vice versa. The words “including” or “include” mean “including, but not limited to.” Any examples given are illustrative and not exhaustive. If these Terms are translated into another language and there is a discrepancy between versions, the English version (if available) will govern unless prohibited by local law.

15.10 Survival

Any provisions of these Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive the termination or expiration of these Terms and/or your use of the services. This includes (but is not limited to) provisions relating to indemnification, warranty disclaimers, limitations of liability, dispute resolution, and governing law, as well as licenses granted by you (to the extent any content remains), and any payment obligations accrued prior to termination.

15.11 Feedback

We welcome and appreciate feedback from our users. If you provide suggestions, ideas, or other feedback to us regarding Glimpses or our services (“Feedback”), you acknowledge that such Feedback is given voluntarily and we are free to use, disclose, reproduce, modify, license, or otherwise distribute and exploit the Feedback as we see fit, without any obligation to compensate you. For example, if you suggest a new feature and we implement it, we are not required to credit or pay you. Do not submit confidential or proprietary ideas; if you do, we are not bound to keep them confidential.
